Hello and welcome to my web site.
Broadcasting has always played a critical part of my life, from the time that I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. Its reach, impact and importance should not be understated. Today, as the media world has become more fragmented, and traditional, new and social media converge, it’s vitally important that we continue to get the facts right and serve our communities.
For the past 20 years, I’ve devoted my work in emerging markets, especially those territories that have had a poor track record in bringing its citizens the news, information and entertainment in an independent and factual way.
I’ve worked for some great broadcasters over the years. I’ve also learned how important it is to gain the trust of our audience.
Following a career working at several American television stations, I then embarked on my overseas adventures from 1992 to the present. The first commercial, private broadcaster in Moscow to the first commercial, local channel in Berlin, then onto London, followed by Istanbul plus other areas of the Middle East, and with stints in Singapore, Warsaw and Kabul, Afghanistan.
I have been lucky to live and work in some pretty interesting hot spots managing and have guided media owners to create strong assets. I’ve watched and helped private media develop in Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and most recently in Afghanistan for nearly 2 years.
As new media evolved in the late 1990s, I have helped extend the brands of traditional media channels, offering unique opportunities for consumers and advertisers, alike.
All over the world, consumers want to be stimulated, entertained and informed. They seek the truth. They love to be challenged with compelling and enriching content. Advertisers want to connect with them, and shareholders want solid returns on their investment.
I hope you enjoy perusing my web site. Please let me know if I can be of help to you.
Thank you very much.
